Fellowship
Oasis is a world-wide multi-faith fellowship, a network of autonomous groups of light workers and seekers on their journey towards the source.
World Understanding and Unity
Our main focus is on world understanding and unity amongst all religions and cultures. Our aim is to advance public knowledge and mutual understanding of the teachings, traditions and practices of the different faiths, including an awareness both of their distinctive features and their common ground and to promote good relations between them.
Temple of All Faiths
A Temple of All Faiths has been built at the Oasis Centre, Reading, England. It has been blessed by ministers of the different denominations, expressly for the purpose of promoting unity between people of all faiths. The annual celebration of Unity Festival is the highlight in the schedule of varied services from all religions.
Spiritual Healing
Oasis is involved in advancing the education and training concerned with the philosophy and practice of spiritual healing. A central theme of our fellowship is "The Oasis Within" care workers often feel depleted by the demands of their work in service and periodically need to be healed themselves. "Open House" meetings are held where we support each other in our efforts to grown spiritually, sharing energies and experiences with other like minded seekers of truth. These meetings are aimed at recharging ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. A vaeriety of healing and self progression workshops are held regularly - see the events pages for dates and further information.
Network & Communication
Oasis groups communicate world-wide through the nucleus of quarterly journals and the ineternet. Oasis members connect, to share experiences or exchange therapies, through the "Friends of Oasis" international directory in the Oasis Journal and these Internet web pages.
Love
Oasis is the wellspring of Love and represents the vortex of the whole. A drop by itself evaporates, together with others it becomes the ocean. Oasis represents that ocean where we can drink of the source of Love and realise our inter-connectedness with the whole.
